April Foolery

A few years ago, I played an April Fools joke on my kids. The night before, I poured a bowl of cereal and milk and put it in the freezer. In the morning, I added a little bit more milk on the top so it looked fresh. The kids got such a kick out of it! Ever since then, April Fool’s Day has been one of our favorite holidays.

This year, they have been talking about it for months. “When does that joke day come again, Mom?” I think they've been trying to prepare

Do you want to know what I did? I snuck in their rooms last night and painted mustaches on their faces. I don’t know who thought it was more funny. I’m not going to lie. It was pretty hard to keep myself from laughing so hard it woke them up.
